- There are many websites that allow you to donate money and food, funded by sponsors, meaning it is at no cost to you. You can also donate food on your own to homeless shelters in nearby towns.

- There are over 10 million people that go to bed without dinner in our country alone, but also as a country, we waste 25% of the food that is produced. By donating leftover food, we can lower 10,000,000 to 7,500,000.

- When you don't have the nutrients needed to support a strong, healthy body, antigens are more likely to be able to attack your immune system. If your immune system isn't strong enough, you will pick up diseases a lot easier.
